London, September 26, 2024 — The first edition of Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE London Global Summit made a big impact as it wrapped up its two-day event at the Business Design Centre in London on September 26.

More than 60 speakers and experts from top global companies came together to share their knowledge and discussions about the latest trends in procurement and supply chain management.

Day 1 Highlights

The event kicked off with representatives from top companies like SAP, Mastercard, GE HealthCare, Vodafone, Nestlé, Danish Crown, Exiger, Hilton, Jabil, and Coupa Software. talked about important topics such as artificial intelligence in procurement, managing supplier relationships, and sustainability.

A major highlight was a keynote speech by Jacqui Rock, Chief Commercial Officer at NHS England. She focused on how technology is transforming healthcare procurement, showing how tech-driven solutions can improve efficiency and community-based healthcare.

Other industry leaders, such as Stuart Farrell from AllPoints Fibre Networks and Sebastien Blandino from Ardagh Metal Packaging, shared their expertise on transforming procurement and tackling sustainability challenges.

The day ended with the Global Procurement & Supply Chain Awards, celebrating outstanding achievements. Some of the winners were:

Day 2 Highlights

On the second day, the focus shifted to technology and future strategies. One highlight was Inderpreet Singh's introduction of the ChemAnalyst platform, which impressed attendees with its innovative approach to Commodity Pricing Intelligence. The audience recognized how this tool could improve data accuracy and streamline procurement operations.

A notable panel discussion on Supply Chain Sustainability and Scope 3 Emissions, led by experts like Jonathon Chen from Neo Tangent Limited, emphasized the need to move from measuring environmental impact to implementing sustainable strategies.

Looking Ahead to 2025

As the event came to a close, participants reflected on the valuable discussions, innovations, and networking opportunities. The success of the summit was clear, and many are already looking forward to next year’s event, set for September 23-24, 2025.
