Nagpur will be going to recycle greater than 90% of sewage water

Cities across country are expected to face water crisis in coming years due to decline in groundwater water level, the existing sources of water are not enough to meet the demand. Recycling of wastewater is one of the ways to meet the demand, many cities across the country are utilizing and recycling the waste water. Nagpur will be India's first city that will be recycle more than 90% of its existing sewage water. Nagpur Municipal Corporation is expanding its capacity from 480 million liters to 525 million liters per day to process the recycle water.
