Iraqi Premier Inaugurates Two New Fertilizer Facilities in Basra

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani presided over the inauguration ceremony of two fertilizer factories situated in Basra, a southern province of Iraq, on Saturday. During his visit to the Basra governorate, Al-Sudani officially opened a urea fertilizer factory as well as a di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) fertilizer factory. As part of the visit, the Prime Minister embarked on a comprehensive tour of the factory premises, acquainting himself with the various departments and receiving a detailed briefing on their operational procedures.

In his address, the Iraqi Prime Minister emphasized the pivotal role that these two newly inaugurated plants would play in addressing the agricultural needs of the nation.
