As per reports, Methanol Chemicals Co.'s (Chemanol) subsidiary, Madarat Al-Dhara Chemicals Co., which specializes in producing specialty chemicals, has entered into a long-term agreement with Sadara Chemical Co. Under this agreement, Sadara will supply Ethylene Oxide to support Madarat Al-Dhara’s Methyl Diethanolamine (MDEA) and Choline Chloride projects. This collaboration is set to be the core of Madarat Al-Dhara’s chemical projects, providing essential raw materials for their production processes.

The agreement highlights a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening Chemanol's capabilities in the specialty chemicals sector. By securing a reliable supply of Ethylene Oxide, Madarat Al-Dhara will enhance its project development and operational efficiency, positioning itself as a key player in the industry with a focus on high-value chemical products.

The Methyl Diethanolamine (MDEA) and Choline Chloride products from Madarat Al-Dhara's projects will have broad applications across several critical industries, including oil and gas, nutrition additives, environmental gas extraction, and carbon capture and storage technologies. These specialized chemicals are crucial for enhancing operational efficiency and addressing environmental challenges.
