Repeats Group B.V., a European plastics recycling firm which is present all over the region, is intent on making recycled – Low-density polyethylene (R-LDPE) from commercial and post-industrial films, which is to be of high quality. The firm declared on September 12 that it had invested in Polimero Srl, an Italian LDPE recycling company which is situated in northern Italy, for the same.

The investment of Repeats in Polimero has made its presence in Italy now, which is a vital step for the company in developing an all-European plastics recycling podium. This marks the third investment of the firm in a short while, while the first two were made in Netherlands and Spain, and it plans to expand its business into other European nations later this year.

Polimero uses an instinctive process to turn plastic debris into resins that are viable for industrial and commercial uses. The firm, now a venture of Repeats group, intends to constantly enhance its production to satisfy the growing demand for R-LDPE in the European region.

Greg Rung, who is the CEO of Repeats, said that Polimero has got a good name in the business as a key player in the domain of LDPE recycling in northern Italy. He also added that they were able to see substantial opportunity for Polimero to further expand into the Italian market by giving its clients recycled resins of great quality.

The CEO of Polimero, Simonetta Tiberto, said that her firm shares the aim of Repeats and Ara Partners of constructing one of the largest recyclers of LDPE in Europe. Ara Partners is a US-based private investment firm that is primarily focused on making investments in industrial decarbonization projects. She also added that her firm was thrilled to get the support of the Repeats group as they progress to expand their company and geographic reach: the company’s efforts are targeted at building a circular ecosystem and serving their customers in the best way, who are in constant need of recycled plastics of high-quality.

Tuan Tran, the partner at Ara Partners, said that his firm was happy for Repeats to get into the Italian market and join with Polimero: Repeats firm is in a good position for drastic growth and aims to become the biggest single manufacturer of recycled LDPE in Europe, and the firm is convinced to support the group in its current efforts in decarbonizing the European plastics market.
