Bangladesh Brings Fertilizing Power to Saudi Arabia with Urea Plant

Bangladesh: Dr. AK Abdul Momen, the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, announced today that the country has reached an agreement with Saudi Arabia to set up a proposed joint-venture fertilizer plant.

On Saturday (March 11), the Minister made a statement to reporters following a meeting with Saudi Arabia's Commerce Minister, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi. He shared his remarks with those present providing insight into the topics discussed and decisions being made.

He announced that building a new fertilizer factory in Saudi Arabia would come with plenty of benefits. Production costs would be lower due to the convenient location, and both parties have agreed on the terms.

The Minister of Finance, Momen, expressed a commitment to invest in the energy, port and airport sectors.
