US CoQ10 Market Witnesses a Rise in Early Oct 2025, Likely to Sustain Uptrend till the End

Peter Schmidt 15-Oct-2025

Import prices of US CoQ10 increased in October 2025. As a result of a combination of increased demand, supply chain reasons, and increased cost of production. Popular antioxidant CoQ10, because of its health benefit, particularly in cardiovascular well-being and enhanced energy, has skyrocketed in the consumer market, fueling demand. The geopolitics have, however, contributed to raw material shortages, which have increased procurement costs. Producers are confronted with costly energy, labor shortages, and government regulations, leading to price hikes. Demand for supplements will peak when the holiday season is near and will also affect supply chains. Therefore, the downstream retailers and vendors nationwide are requested to make adjustments in inventory plans, and consumers should purchase CoQ10 ahead of time to prevent price increase later in November. Stakeholders are required to foster good supplier relationships and react to evolving pricing plans for their survival during this period.

Selenis has effectively manufactured recycled PET chips using terephthalic acid sourced from Circ®, a textile-to-textile recycler based in Virginia. The chip production took place through a series of batches at Selenis' pilot plant in San-Giorgio, Italy. By utilizing inputs recovered from polycotton textile waste, Selenis has created high-quality PET chip, which has been further processed into DTY yarn. This yarn will play a crucial role in product development as Circ prepares for additional capsule launches. Selenis is leveraging the success of this initial collaboration phase and is committed to advancing towards an offtake partnership to support Circ's inaugural industrial facility. Eduardo Santos, Head of Corporate Strategy at Selenis, remarked that the monomer synthesis showed a performance comparable to virgin terephthalic acid. He expressed optimism about the consistent quality of Circ's monomer output and anticipated future commercial success. Santos pointed out that the Circ partnership complements Selenis's existing mission and goals for a more sustainable textile industry. He further stated their anticipation of expanding upon this collaboration and providing support for Circ's forthcoming commercial production trials.
