RFCL Set to Commence Production at its Brown Field Fertilizer Project

Ramagundum Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL), is ready to begin the commercial production in its fertilizer plant from June 15, 2020. The production was earlier scheduled to start by March 31 but was put on hold due to lockdown restrictions to contain the Coronavirus spread. Comprehending the ongoing requirement for fertilizers in the peak season, Union Home Ministry along with the State Government of Telangana liberated RFCL from the restrictions and urged the company to proceed with the pre-commissioning works of this brown field project. The company with 750 regular staff and 2000 outsourced employees, has been asked to strictly adhere to all the preventive measures of virus to avoid any chances of contagion within the premises. The new plant at RFCL is equipment with highly advanced technology from Denmark and Italy to produce supreme quality of Ammonia and Urea fertilizers. With this new commencement, RFCL is anticipated to contribute to an annual production 1.27 million metric tonnes of fertilizers.
