Polyplastic Commences Production of 1200 mm Diameter Pipes in Primorye

Primorsky Polymer Pipe Plant, which is a part of the Polyplastic Group, has reached a significant milestone by installing and initiating an extrusion line for the production of smooth polyethylene pipes with a substantial diameter of up to 1200 mm. This development represents a notable addition to the company's capabilities.

Furthermore, the Polyplastic Group's production facility in the coastal region has been thoughtfully equipped with a dedicated warehouse intended for the storage of finished products. To ensure an extensive product range is readily available for construction projects in the Far East, the facility accommodates pipe products from the Khabarovsk Pipe Plant (KhTZ) that are not yet produced at the Primorsky plant.

Polyplastic embarked on the construction of this new plant in Primorsky Krai in 2023. The initial phase of construction was executed efficiently, with ongoing development efforts directed towards enhancing the production infrastructure of the facility.

Yaroslav Zhivikin, the General Director of the Primorsky Polymer Pipe Plant, shared insights into the project's progress, stating, "By the end of this year, all activities within the framework of the first stage of the construction of the plant will be completed. Four extrusion lines will produce pipes with a diameter ranging from 20 to 1200 mm. The total output at the initial stage is expected to exceed 7,000 tons per year."

Upon the completion of the second stage of the project, the plant's territory will expand to encompass approximately 10 hectares, with the creation of over 180 new job opportunities. It is anticipated that the planned output of polymer pipe products by the year 2027 will reach an impressive 24,000 tons per year.

The commitment to this venture is underscored by Kirill Trusov, Chief Operating Officer of the Polyplastic Group, who highlighted an investment of 1.5 billion rubles in this project. This significant investment will be carried out in two stages, indicative of the company's dedication to advancing its capabilities and presence in the Far Eastern Federal District.

The decision to establish additional production facilities in the Far Eastern Federal District was informed by compelling reasons. Support measures for residents of the ASEZ, along with an increased state interest in the region's infrastructure development, have generated substantial demand for polymer pipeline systems.

The expansion of the Primorsky Polymer Pipe Plant and its newfound capacity to produce large diameter pipes up to 1200 mm signifies an important step towards enhancing infrastructure and meeting the growing demands of construction and development projects in the region. The ongoing collaboration with SIBUR further underscores the commitment to providing high-quality polymer pipe solutions for various applications, contributing to the region's economic development and infrastructure improvement.
