Lithium Universe Limited is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Servitank, a subsidiary of Groupe Somavrac, to enhance logistics and supply chain processes for its Becancour Lithium Refinery project. This strategic partnership aims to streamline the delivery of essential chemicals and support the efficient operation of the refinery, which is expected to produce 18,270 tonnes per annum of green battery-grade lithium carbonate.

The MOU outlines a collaborative effort where Servitank will act as the primary logistics partner, managing the transportation, storage, and delivery of key chemicals needed for the refining process. • Secondary Product Management: Both companies will explore opportunities for managing by-products, including alumina silicate, with potential partnerships in industries like cement and pulp and paper. This aligns with Lithium Universe’s commitment to sustainability and circular economy practices.

• Storage and Handling Solutions:Servitank is evaluating storage solutions at its Becancour Port terminal and will investigate the construction of dedicated storage tanks for critical process reagents, further enhancing the reliability and cost-effectiveness of chemical supply logistics.
