In January 2023, the cost of Levocetirizine Di-Hydrochloride inclined across the globe, primarily due to a rise in end-user inquiries, fresh production, and higher input prices. Eased supply-chain disruption throughout the international market further supported the upsurged trend for Levocetirizine Di-Hydrochloride in China, the United States, and Germany.

In China, the prices of Levocetirizine Di-Hydrochloride showcased a decremented trend during the final month of the fourth quarter of 2022, which was primarily reinforced by weak demand, lower international quotations, and higher inventories among the domestic and global markets. However, prices increased during the first half of the first quarter of 2023 as inquiries from domestic and international markets increased. In response to protests related to Covid pandemic, the world's second-largest economy recently reopened its borders and relaxed COVID-19 limits, and increased customer interest has fuelled market sentiments of Levocetirizine Di-Hydrochloride throughout the region. Overall, compared to the previous month, the prices of Levocetirizine Di-Hydrochloride rose by around 3.39 percent.

Similarly, in the United States and Germany, the price of Levocetirizine Di-Hydrochloride increased by 4.63 percent and 3.05 percent, respectively, during the first half of the first quarter of 2023. However, raised quotations from traders in order to restock their shelves primarily due to the closure of manufacturing plants and reduced labor availability for the Chinese Lunar New Year (CNY) in the last week of January, kept the market prices of Levocetirizine Di-hydrochloride on the higher side. Also, the local suppliers and distributors had increased their prices on their previous stockpiles to maintain their profit margins.

As per the ChemAnalyst analysis, "the prices of Levocetirizine Di-Hydrochloride are projected to rise globally in the forthcoming months at a moderate rate. Prices of key active pharmaceutical ingredients, a vital component used in manufacturing medicines, are expected to surge considerably  due to increased end-user demand from various sectors."
