Largest Electronic Grade Epoxy Resin Project Announces Production of 200,000 Tons/Year

China: The Dongying Economic and Technological Development Zone of Shandong Province has announced the acceptance of an exciting new project by Dongying Yi Rui Zengnew Material Technology Co. LTD. The project involves the development of electronic grade Epoxy resin and special resin new materials, with a capacity of 200,000 tons per year.

Dongying Liancheng Chemical Co. Ltd. invested and established Dongying Yiruzeng New Material Technology Co. Ltd. on April 27, 2021. The company is dedicated to research and development of new material technology, metal functional material sales, and synthetic material manufacturing. This new project marks a significant milestone in their efforts to expand and enhance their business.

Dongying Yiruizheng New Material Technology Co., Ltd. is taking steps to ramp up the production of Epoxy resin in the country and cater to the growing demand in the market. The company plans to invest 716.84 million yuan for this purpose. It will utilize liquid alkali sourced from Huatai Chemical's ion membrane Caustic Soda device and Epichlorohydrin obtained from Liancheng Chemical's Epichlorohydrin device as raw materials for the project. The Dongying Guangli Chemical Industry Park will be the site of a new facility that specializes in producing 200,000 tons per year of electronic grade Epoxy resin and special resin new material.

Huatai Group's industrial chain will expand into the field of Epoxy resin through the construction of this project. This will significantly enhance their comprehensive competitiveness and have strategic significance in improving their economic status in East China and the entire country.

The project will undergo construction in two phases. The first phase will involve building three electronic grade basic Epoxy resin production lines, resulting in an annual output of 120,000 tons of electronic grade basic Epoxy resin. The second phase will consist of constructing one electronic grade basic Epoxy resin production line, two solid Epoxy resin production lines, and six special Epoxy resin production lines. The total annual output will be 40,000 tons of electronic grade basic Epoxy resin (including 24,369.5 tons for solid Epoxy resin and special Epoxy resin production), 20,000 tons of solid Epoxy resin, and 20,000 tons of special Epoxy resin.

The project’s total investment is 716.84 million yuan, of which 340 million yuan is for the first phase.
