Green Hydrogen Systems A/S and the global engineering firm BWSC have entered into a strategic collaboration agreement to enhance their existing partnership focused on advancing initiatives related to green hydrogen projects.

The strategic collaboration agreement builds upon the ongoing partnership between Green Hydrogen Systems and BWSC, which began with the installation of the X-Series prototype at GreenLab in Skive, Denmark. This joint project, initiated in April 2023, involved the initial site layout, site preparation, and the installation of Green Hydrogen Systems' 6 MW HyProvide X-Series prototype module. The module is currently operational and generating green hydrogen.

Through this partnership, Green Hydrogen Systems and BWSC aspire to provide comprehensive hydrogen plants featuring pre-engineered and optimized site layouts utilizing Green Hydrogen Systems’ HyProvide X-Series module. The focus will be on addressing green hydrogen projects ranging from 6 to 50 MW across strategic European markets. This collaborative effort will delineate the technical and commercial interfaces between Green Hydrogen Systems and BWSC, facilitating the development of tailored solutions for mid-scale hydrogen and Power-to-X projects. The goal is to streamline project timelines, mitigate risks, and enhance the overall economic viability of hydrogen plants.

"We are excited to announce the expansion of our successful collaboration with BWSC. Our joint work on the HyProvide X-Series prototype site at Greenlab underscores the effectiveness of our collaborative approach. We are confident that this continued collaboration will expedite project development and execution, offering significant advantages to green hydrogen initiatives throughout Europe," remarks Søren Rydbirk, Chief Commercial Officer at Green Hydrogen Systems.

"We are convinced that BWSC's engineering expertise and construction proficiency, coupled with our commitment to fostering trusted alliances and actively driving the green transition, align seamlessly with Green Hydrogen Systems' technological prowess. By joining forces, we can accomplish greater feats, streamlining procurement and construction processes for complete hydrogen plants while minimizing risks. It's a privilege for us to contribute to the solution," expresses Dimitris Likouressis, Chief Commercial Officer at BWSC.

The collaboration between Green Hydrogen Systems and BWSC is non-exclusive, enabling both entities to establish similar partnership agreements with other organizations. This approach fosters openness and encourages innovation within the green hydrogen sector.

Green Hydrogen Systems, a clean technology enterprise, stands as a prominent supplier of standardized, modular electrolyzers designed for green hydrogen production from renewable sources.
