Full Circle Lithium Corp. ("FCL" or the "Company"), a lithium products manufacturer based in the USA, announces the successful testing of its newly rebranded proprietary lithium-ion battery fire-extinguishing agent, FCL-X®, in collaboration with a global electric vehicle manufacturer (EV OEM) at its Georgia manufacturing facility and with the local fire department for the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA). The tests were conducted under the supervision of the Bryan and Glynn County Fire Departments in Georgia.

These testing opportunities stem from the culmination of three independent laboratory tests tailored to lithium-ion batteries, encompassing various applications such as household electronics, electric scooters/ebikes, and electric vehicles (EVs). The trio of tests explored different scenarios and environments to validate the reliability and adaptability of FCL-X® while benchmarking it against other prominent battery fire-fighting agents, including water, currently utilized by first responders for lithium-ion battery fires. Conducted by an independent, accredited US-certified laboratory, these tests comprised controlled laboratory settings as well as real-world simulations.

The favorable results of these tests confirm FCL-X®'s ability to swiftly, safely, and efficiently extinguish lithium-ion battery fires in an environmentally friendly manner. As per the independent laboratory findings, when compared to other leading agents, FCL-X® demonstrated a significantly faster extinguishing speed for lithium-ion battery fires, utilized substantially less agent, and reduced the toxic smoke emitted by such fires. What sets FCL-X® apart is its uniqueness, as it was developed by the FCL lithium engineering team to target the intricate chemical reactions responsible for lithium-ion battery fires.

Carlos Vicens, CEO of FCL, remarked: "Currently, there is a significant gap in the market for fire-fighting agents specifically designed for lithium-ion batteries. Considering the serious risks these fires pose to both individuals and businesses worldwide, many stakeholders in the EV battery supply chain, including first responders and EV OEMs, are actively seeking and testing various extinguishing solutions. Given the global threat of lithium-ion battery fires, we believe the market for battery fire-fighting agents is both substantial and emerging. Our proprietary FCL-X® agent is uniquely effective against lithium-ion battery fires, presenting a tremendous potential opportunity for FCL."

Tom Currin, COO of Full Circle Lithium, stated: "We've observed significant interest from various industries concerned about safety and unable to find a safe, effective solution. As part of our commercial roll-out strategy, we are rebranding our lithium-ion battery fire extinguishing agent to FCL-X®."

After successful testing and validation of the FCL-X®, FCL is ready to make its mark in the worldwide market with its groundbreaking fire-extinguishing technology. The company's emphasis on enhancing lithium-ion battery fire safety corresponds with the growing need for dependable fire suppression solutions across various sectors including firefighting, automotive, residential, energy storage, and consumer electronics. Given that the United States stands as one of the foremost markets for electric vehicles and associated technologies, it presents a substantial opportunity for FCL to launch its FCL-X® product.

Carlos Vicens, CEO of FCL, commented, "We believe we are ideally located in Georgia, which is heavily invested in the future of electrification, with over US$20 billion in EV OEM projects currently underway. This creates an optimal environment for the commercial roll-out of FCL-X®."
