Briggs & Stratton Energy Solutions, a prominent provider of battery systems and standby generators in the United States, has introduced a cutting-edge lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery package. This comprehensive package includes a battery, a 6-kW inverter, and an advanced control system.

According to Tom Rugg, Senior Vice President and President of Briggs & Stratton Energy Solutions, these innovative packages represent a simplified yet state-of-the-art technology solution. They possess the versatility to serve a wide array of energy applications, spanning both residential and commercial sectors. From grid-tied solar systems to off-grid energy setups and backup power solutions for outage management, these packages are designed to meet diverse energy needs.

These packages incorporate Briggs & Stratton's proprietary SimpliPHI and AmpliPHI battery technologies, known for their scalability. These technologies allow for easy capacity expansion, with the capability to reach an impressive 299 kWh per system.

Among the available packages is the SimpliPHI ESS Package, which consists of a 4.9 kWh battery, a 6-kW inverter from SimpliPHI, and an EnergyTrak control system. This package can harness the power of up to four batteries, enabling a maximum capacity of 19.92 kWh. It's worth noting that this package provides up to 32 hours of backup power, enhancing reliability during extended outages.

Briggs & Stratton emphasizes the versatility of the SimpliPHI ESS Package, suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. It boasts an IP65 rating, ensuring its ability to operate effectively in a range of weather conditions. Moreover, to accommodate larger power needs, the system allows for parallel operation of multiple batteries, further enhancing its scalability.

On the other hand, the AmpliPHI ESS Package centers around a 3.8 kWh battery, a SimpliPHI 6 kW inverter, and an EnergyTrak control system. Like its counterpart, it can utilize up to four batteries and reach a capacity of up to 15.48 kWh. This package offers robust backup power capabilities, providing up to 25 hours of sustained power during outages.

Briggs & Stratton highlights the flexibility of the AmpliPHI ESS Package, allowing for easy scalability through the addition of AmpliPHI batteries to meet higher power demands.

In terms of reliability, both packages come with an impressive 15-year warranty, reflecting the manufacturer's confidence in their durability and performance. The battery technology within these packages is renowned for its resilience, boasting a lifecycle exceeding 10,000 cycles and a depth of discharge (DoD) rating of 80%.

Additionally, Briggs & Stratton underscores the "Made in the USA" aspect of these products, emphasizing that they are engineered and assembled in the United States, aligning with the company's commitment to quality and domestic manufacturing.
