Arkema Secures ISCC PLUS Certification for Changshu Additives and Resin Production Facility

Arkema, a frontrunner in specialty materials, has achieved a major milestone in its sustainability initiatives by securing ISCC PLUS certification for its facility in Changshu, China. This certification enables Arkema to adopt the Mass Balance approach, facilitating the introduction of a new range of bio-attributed waterborne acrylic resins and additives in Asia. These advancements will contribute to the development of more sustainable solutions for coating applications in the rapidly expanding local markets, including new energy, e-mobility, enhanced living comfort, and improved building efficiency.

The ISCC PLUS certification broadens Arkema's portfolio of renewable origin rheology modifiers and waterborne resins, contributing to a reduced carbon footprint. It also enhances the existing range of bio-based segregated resins and additives, which contain up to 100% biobased content.
