Anti-dumping duty imposed on PTA imports from South Korea, Thailand

The Revenue Department of India has imposed anti-dumping duty on all imports from South Korea and Thailand, based on the suggestions from designated authority in the Commerce Ministry. Anti-dumping duty of INR 1912.4 per tons is imposed on PTA exported by Hyosung TNC Corporation.
On PTA exported by Taekwang Industrial Co Ltd, the anti-dumping duty of INR 1652.7 and on PTA exported by all other exporters in South Korea, an anti-dumping duty of INR 54796.6 has been imposed.
An anti-dumping duty of INR 3180.1 has been imposed on exporters from Thailand like, Indorama Petrochemical Limited and TPT Petrochemicals Public Co Ltd. On the other exporters from Thailand an anti-dumping duty of INR 4378.5 has been imposed.
