Sulzer Ltd. strategically focusses on growing business organically which has the led the company to acquire GTC Technology US, LLC, a leading engineering service provider for the petrochemical industry. GTC provides licenses for proprietary processes and systems to produce aromatics and other petrochemicals. Aromatization, C5 Processing, BTX Recovery and Gas to Liquids processing are in-house engineered processes of GTC Technology. This acquisition would strengthen Sulzer’s position in the petrochemical market, thereby expanding the company’s revenue base. The deal was valued at INR 2.7 Billion and was signed and closed simultaneously.
