Asahi Songwon Colors Ltd is going to set up a plant in Dahej in JV with Tennants Textile Colors Ltd with 51:49 shareholding respectively and is expected to be commissioned by March, 2021 with a production capacity of 2400 Tonnes per annum. Asahi Songwon is an Indian company with Rupees 300 crore turnover is a global leader in manufacturing Phthalo pigments. 70% of the Asahi products are exported to Japan, Korea and others. This JV expected to widen the product basket.
