Air Products, a multinational company engaged in the business of chemicals and industrial gases, entered into an alliance agreement with a catalysis company, Haldor Topsoe for the development of large-scale Ammonia, Methanol, and/or Dimethyl Ether plants. The agreement provides guaranteed license of Topsoe’s technology as well as several high-performance catalysts, engineering designs, equipment, and technical services for the effective working of these plants.
Air Products will incur appreciable benefits by this collaboration as various units in the company will undergo integration of Topsoe’s technology for acquiring optimum operating efficiencies. Along with this, Topsoe will further serve Air Products in gasification of various feedstock in addition to gas synthesis processes. In admiration of the collaboration, the Vice-President of Air Products stated that this pact will open new doors for expanding the global reach of the company and strengthening its business cycle in the international market. Moreover, this global alliance agreement will ensure the availability of supreme facilities for the quality development of these global mega projects.
